Michael Franti and Spearhead

Hello all and welcome to my first blog posting of my life. I will let you know that this has been starting on 11/4/2006 the best week of my life with the best day of my life so far being friday nov10th,2006. I got to spend a good deal of time with Michael Franti, musician and peace/human rights activist. I got to share with michael some of the ways he has inspired me with his music and message of humaness and love of one another. Well it is late and that is all I will write for right now but I will be back soon with all the details of the best day of my life soon.

last night

I just capped off the greatest 9 days of my life with my screening of Michael’s documentary at the kendall sq movie theatre. We had about 132 people last night at the showing and it was amazing to see all those people show up after I had put in so much hard work. It gave me a great feeling to know everyone came out on a rainy night to hear about peace and michael’s journey Iraq and the middle east. I am overwhelmed by the love everyone showed me and also amazed by the people I continue to meet on my new journey as a peace activist.
